long time,no post....
...picked up a couple of used cds at zulu today. new order - 'power,corrution and lies' as well as firewater - 'the man on the burning tightrope'. been a long time since i last heard the new order and must say it really has not aged well,save for a couple of tracks.
...the firewater i picked up on alex in NYC 's recommendation from some time ago on ilm. at one time i owned 'the ponzi scheme' but had traded it in as it just annoyed the hell out of me. this time around i wasn't expecting to like this,but upon first listens there are a few standout tracks for me. 'anything at all' as well as'don't make it stop' both grabbed my ears.
