.......well the joke impressed the hell out of me!
the boys seemed to be in terrific spirits,really
enjoying themselves sadly,this was my first time catching them live [jaz
mentioned onstage that 1982 was their last vancouver appearance] and all i
can say is holy fuck! jaz was really talkative between songs ,commenting on
the illegal election and the illegal war,9-11,our neighbours to the
south,blair,"hell is made up of people with no opinions",international/large
corporations. as i said,he had alot to say,sure someone else could add more.
large turnout,club was packed,not sure of the numbers.people even tried
singing along to "asteroid" ! [jaz::"now it feels like home"] geordie and
raven seemed to be having a great time,exchanging looks and laughing all
night.

...just back from catching an instore performance at the virgin megastore. spiritualized played quite a few songs off of their 'amazing grace' cd quite nice,amazing sound...might even make me buy the thing. the best part though was seeing one of my idols shopping their. elvis costello looked very cool in a long black leather jacket and slightly spiked hair. on his arm was gf diana krall who looked a whole lot hotter than i've seen her before[ on tv]. the couple strolled around with nary a soul bothering them. very cool..[i know,how very fanboy of me].

...the lunar eclipse was very clear from me part of the world last night. those lucky folks in portland,or. getting to see killing joke on an eclipse
